Pay per click income Definition Income generated when users click on paid links or ads. Information Pay per click income is generated by sites that offer targeted ads or links. First a website will offer ads or links that are clicked on by visiting customers. The websites or companies that are paying for these ads only pay when their ad is clicked. A count is made of each click and the advertising company pays the advertising balance. This income is known as pay per click income.
